Vautour Shortens For King George Ahead Of Return

King George sponsor William Hill shortened Vautour for the Kempton feature this morning, ahead of his return in the Stella Artois 1965 Chase at Ascot. Vautour is now 9-4 from 5-2.

“Vautour is really popular ahead of his return, he appears to be in a lot of multiples for today’s action and punters are getting their cash on early for him to win the King George,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Tea For Two is the worst result of the day for William Hill so far, with Lizzie Kelly’s mount backed from 7-1 in to 11-2 in the “Fixed Brush” Hurdle at Haydock at 2.25.

Silviniaco Conti is the most popular horse in the Betfair Chase, but the small field has deterred some punters from investing in the race.
