USPGA: Lowry Slashed - As Mcllroy On The Drift

After winning the WGC–Bridgestone Invitational over the weekend, Shane Lowry has been slashed from 125/1 into 50/1 to win the final major of the year. Meanwhile Rory Mcllroy is proving friendless and he has drifted from 7/1 to 9/1 – with former world number one Tiger Woods offered at 40/1.

“Rory is obviously going to be a little rusty but we would still have expected him to be more popular” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
