Twenty Left To Tackle Triomphe

Treve remains a solid 4-5 favourite for this Sunday’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe with William Hill after the latest forfeit stage.

Currently 20 horses remain in the bidding for Europe’s richest race and with the horses at the front end attracting support, some of those further down the list are being pushed out as a result.

Found has been eased to 16-1 from 14-1, with Erupt 25-1 from 20-1 and Dolniya out to 33-1 from 25-1.

“Golden Horn is proving popular, but Treve is still very much the one to beat, even with the drying ground,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Mecca’s Angel remains 11-4 favourite ahead of the Prix de l’Abbaye forfeits on Wednesday. Sole Power is currently attracting the most money at 7-1, with punters favouring a horse who should enjoy the potentially quicker conditions.
