TV BAFTAS: The Clues Point To A Sherlock Win

Sheridan Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch look set to walk off with the best actress and actor gongs at the TV BAFTAs after they were nominated for Cilla and Sherlock respectively.

Sheridan Smith is a 1/2 shot for her portrayal of the Liverpudlian songstress, while Cumberbatch is 11/10 favourite in his category.

Ant and Dec look set to pick up another award after they were nominated for best entertainment show - Saturday Night Takeaway, although they will face stiff competition from Leigh Francis and his Celebrity Juice which is 11/4 with Britain's biggest bookmaker.

"Benedict has already been to the Oscars and BAFTAs this year without success," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "But the TV BAFTAs could be where he finally picks up a gong."
