Trip To Paris Runs Great Prep For Melbourne

Trip To Paris ran a great preparation race for the Melbourne Cup after finishing second to Mongolian Khan in the Caulfield Cup. William Hill make Trip To Paris 7-1 from 20-1, while Fame Game who ran a fine effort in sixth is 4-1 favourite from 7-1. The winner, Mongolian Khan is now 8-1 from 12-1.

Ed Dunlop also has the perennial Melbourne Cup runner-up Red Cadeaux, who is 33-1 to win the race, after finishing second three times.

“Ed Dunlop has a great chance of landing the Melbourne Cup with Trip To Paris running in to great form and maybe Red Cadeaux can finally claim a race that he would richly deserve,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
