The Voice: Betting Suggests Stevie Can Start Celebrating

William Hill make Stevie McCrorie the odds-on favourite for The Voice ahead of the live Final and the betting suggests he can start celebrating.

Britain’s biggest bookmaker has taken bets from all over Europe on Stevie, with a 7000 Swedish kroner (£500) punt on Stevie when he was odds of 2-1 earlier in the competition (21st March). As a result of that bet and a weight of money from within the UK, the odds were cut to 7/4 and it has been one-way traffic since then.

One UK-based punter had a £2000 bet at odds of 7/4 and stands to collect £5500 should Stevie be crowned champion. He’s now odds-on to win the competition.

“The betting suggests Stevie is home and dry and looks all set to win The Voice,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
