The New One Ready To Jump Start Season

The New One is 1-7 to win the Hurdle at Kempton Park on Sunday, with the sponsor offering 2-1 that Nigel Twiston-Davies’ star wins by 8 lengths or more.

“The New One will be very tough to beat and connections will be hopeful he puts down a strong marker for the season,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

The Listed William Hill – On Your Mobile Novices’ Hurdle looks more competitive, but Maputo is the Even-Money favourite. There are few trainers in better form than John Ferguson and with Maputo being a former Group 3 winner on the Flat and unbeaten over hurdles, he looks very much the one to beat.

“Maputo has taken to jumping hurdles like a duck to water and he could be very popular with punters at Kempton Park,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
