The Ashes: Will Punters Get To See A Full Test? Can England Land 50/1 Shot?

England have been well backed to win the Fifth and final Test of this summer’s Ashes and William Hill make them 11/8 favourites to secure the victory that would take them to 4-1 in the series (which was 50/1 before the start of the Ashes).

Once again, Joe Root is the man whom cricket fans think will bag the runs for England and he is the 11/4 favourite to be the top runscorer followed by Alistair Cook at 4/1.

Not one Test has gone the distance and it is 7/1 that the finale finishes on either day 1, 2, or 3.

“Cricket fans have been slightly short-changed due to the fact that England have been so good this summer and with just one Test remaining in this year’s Ashes, those with tickets will be hoping that there is a full five day’s play,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
