Bookmakers William Hill reckon Chris Froome is nailed-on for the Tour de France title after a blistering win in Stage 10 saw the Team Sky rider extend his lead over the likes of Tejay Van Garderen and Nairo Quintana. Alberto Contador was one of the big losers on the day as the tough climbs left all toiling, with the exception of Froome.

William Hill make Chris Froome the 1/12 favourite, with Nairo Quintana just about in touch as the second-favourite at 13/2. Alberto Contador is now out to a massive 44/1, with Tejay Van Garderen at 50/1.

“It is now Froome’s to lose. If Chris keeps on going as strongly as he has done so far in the Tour, then nobody can catch him,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
