Sweaty Sydney: Punters Back Record Breaking Temperature
Sydney is on track to break its all-time November heat record and online bookmaker William Hill is taking bets on just how hot it will get.
Known for pushing the boundaries, William Hill is offering punters the chance to back the temperature to tip over the 41.2 degrees Celsius mark at Observatory Hill at odds of $1.87.
The same price is being offered to those who think it may be a little cooler by the coast.
“Mother nature is putting on her afterburners today and turning it up to ten, so we’re giving people the chance to take a punt with William Hill on just how hot it will get,” William Hill spokesperson Tim Ashworth said.
“If this is a sign of things to come for the summer, God speed to all the English tourists out there at Bondi!”
