Speaker Bercow 7/2 To Lose Voice

BOOKMAKERS William Hill offer odds of 7/2 that John Bercow will no longer be Speaker of the House of Commons on August 1, 2015 - but 1/6 that he will still be in the role.

'There are suggestions of some kind of 'cunning plan' to change the system for appointing the Speaker, with a view to removing Mr Bercow from the position. However, at this point we beleve he is more likely than not to remain in situ when the next government is formed.' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

**William Hil make John Bercow 1/33 to retain his seat in Buckingham, where UKIP are 12/1 and the Greens 33/1 to be elected.
