Sol Campbell 10/1 To Score For Tories

SOL CAMPBELL could be set to score in a second career after quitting football. Already making no secret of his interest in politics, the former England defender is now being linked with the Kensington constituency vacated by Sir Malcolm Rifkind - and William Hill are now making the Spurs and Arsenal man a 10/1 chance to become an MP by the end of 2020.

'It would be a surprise to see Sol, far less experienced as a politician than a footballer, being brought on as a super-sub by the Tories to fill in for their experienced player who has left the field' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe,'But if he were to be selected to stand there he would have every chance of winning  as the Tories are red not favourites at 1/100 to retain the seat.'
