Sire de Grugy 6/1 For Double

Sire De Grugy is the 8-11 favourite with William Hill to make a winning return to the track this weekend, as he makes his comeback from a hip injury.

And William Hill offer 6-1 that the Gary Moore star can win at Newbury and go on to claim the Champion Chase crown at the Cheltenham Festival.

“Sire De Grugy would be odds of around 2-5 if he hadn’t been off for so long through injury and if he wins this weekend he could well join Sprinter Sacre, or even overtake him as favourite for the Champion Chase,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
