Royal Baby: Will Tuesday Arrival Be Called Elizabeth?
The 21st April is the Queen’s birthday and according to William Hill it is the most popular date of arrival according to their customers. Currently at 12/1, should the baby arrive tomorrow, William Hill will be facing their largest ‘date’ payout, while the industry could be looking at a £50,000 return to punters.
Should the baby be born on Tuesday, be a girl and called Alice (the three favourite outcomes), the industry payout could be in the region of £500,000.
If the baby is born tomorrow, Elizabeth would be a very apt name and it can be backed at 11/2 – making it the joint second favourite in the market.
“Elizabeth would be a very apt name should the new arrival be born on Tuesday,” said William hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “If we are being honest, only a Tuesday arrival can seemingly stop the little one being called Alice.”
