Royal Baby: Over Two Thirds Of All Bets For A Baby Girl

With the latest member of the Royal Family due to arrive this month, William can report that over two thirds of all money taken on the gender of the baby have been for it to be a girl – making that outcome 8/11 favourite ahead of boy at Even money.

“When George was born, we saw similar levels of interest in the baby being a girl based on a misguided belief that Kate had accidentally let the cat out of the bag,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “This time around, the gamble is more organic and has no basis in anything that has been reported. We think this gamble could be correct.”

The fact that girl is the most popular bet is highlighted by the fact that that the favourite boys names is James all the way out at 14/1. Alice is the 2/1 favourite.
