Roosters new favourites despite Round 5 loss

The Roosters have moved into outright favouritism at to win the 2015 NRL Premiership, despite losing to cellar dweller the Sharks in Round 5.


While the Roosters remain unchanged at $4.50 with William Hill after Round 5, South Sydney eased from $4.50 to $5.50 after it was revealed playmaker Adam Reynolds could miss up to two months due to injury.


“We haven’t written a bet for Souths since the Reynolds news dropped,” said William Hill’s Andrew Brown.


“The Broncos and the Cowboys have been the biggest movers after Round 5 and they continue to be popular with punters.”


Brisbane trimmed up from $13 into $9 at William Hill, while North Queensland firmed from $14 into $12.


The Bulldogs remain $8 third favourites.
