Klopp Favourite To Replace Him

William Hill have once again trimmed the odds of Brendan Rodgers being the first manager to leave his job after a number of bets following his side’s lacklustre draw at home to Norwich. He is 6/4 from 7/4 with bets of up to £40 being placed on him getting the boot.

Rodgers is 11/10 to fail to last until the 31st December and 4/6 to have left Liverpool by the end of the Premier League season.

Jurgen Klopp is the 5/4 favourite to get the job should Rodgers depart while Garry Monk and Carlo Ancelotti are both 7/1.

“Klopp is the favourite to take over at Anfield and certainly has the high profile to fit the role, although Garry Monk is a contender to make the well-trodden path from the Liberty Stadium to Anfield,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
