Redknapp Slashed For Rangers Axe…Will Villa Fans Miss Out…

Harry Redknapp’s odds of being the next Premier League manager to leave his job have tumbled according to bookmakers William Hill. Offered at 6/4 at the start of the day, he has once again gone odds on (having been as short as 1/3 in October).

Steve Bruce is the 5/1 second favourite with Paul Lambert 11/2.

Paul Lambert’s reign at Villa Park has taken a dramatic downturn since the start of the season with fans expected to stage an eight minute protest at the start of the game. It is 12/1 that those Villa fans miss a goal by their own side and 9/1 they miss a Liverpool goal.

Sunderland could be on for a record breaking season but not in a good way. With 11 draws already chalked up, it is just 3/1 that they break the (38 game) Premier League record of 17 stalemates in a season.

Sunderland’s on field performances could be improved, however, by the arrival of Jermaine Defoe, who is 6/1 to open the scoring against his former side Spurs on Saturday and 6/4 to score anytime.

Next Premier League manager to leave: 10/11 Harry Redknapp; 5/1 Steve Bruce; 11/2 Paul Lambert; 9/1 Gus Poyet; 11/1 Roberto Martinez; 12/1 Nigel Pearson; 16/1 BAR

To score in the first eight minutes of the Aston Villa/Liverpool match: 12/1 Villa; 9/1 Liverpool

Sunderland to break the 38 game season record for most draws in a season (17): 3/1

Jermaine Defoe to score vs Spurs: 6/1 first; 6/4 anytime

Next Newcastle manager: 11/8 Remi Garde; 2/1 John Carver; 5/1 Steve McLaren; 8/1 Tim Sherwood; 14/1 Bruno Labbadia; 25/1 BAR
