Red Hot Redmayne Odds On For BAFTA Glory

British Actor Eddie Redmayne, is the red hot favourite to scoop the BAFTA for best actor with William Hill making him 1/2. He is ahead of Michael Keaton at 9/4 and Benedict Cumberbatch at 4/1.

If the odds indicate Redmayne is a sure fire winner then the bookies are even more convinced by Julianne Moore whose performance in Still Alice has her at 1/5 to pick up the award for best actress.

Boyhood is the resounding favourite to win best film at 4/11 with The Imitation Game a 4/1 second favourite.

“There is sometimes a British bias when it comes to the BAFTAs, however, there are such clear favourites this year that any home loyalties have gone out of the window,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Eddie Redmayne should bag best actor though.”
