Reality TV Weekend Round Up… X Factor Is Still King…

Sunday’s X Factor saw the emergence of three new acts who William Hill think could be in contention for winning the show. Anton Stephans (12/1), Che Chesterman (12/1) and Hannah Marie Kiliminster at 16/1.

“Louisa Johnson has been clear favourite for some time now and while we are seeing decent acts, it seems as though they are simply making up the numbers,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “This could explain the further decline in viewing figures.”

While the show’s viewing figures may be in decline, in the bookies, the X Factor is still the king when it comes to reality TV betting. In 2014, the show produced three times more bets than its rival Strictly.

“As far as reality TV betting goes, X Factor is still the number one and while viewers may be switching off it is more popular than ever with our punters,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
