Ramos: Will Sergio Stay or Go?

It’s a tight betting market on whether Sergio Ramos will stay at Real Madrid or choose a move away from the Bernabeu. Manchester United have been knocking on the door and they look the most likely destination should he depart.

William Hill make it odds-on at 4/6 that Ramos stays at Real this summer, while it is 11/10 that he leaves for pastures new. But while the bookies reckon Sergio will stay, punters are backing him to move.

“It’s a tough call whether Ramos will stay or go and with interest from Manchester United, optimistic fans seem to be betting on him making the move,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

“Our customers are backing him to leave Real Madrid.”

In other football betting, Neil Lennon and Sam Allardyce are the early favourites for the Leicester job after the sacking of Nigel Pearson. Lennon and Allardyce are 7/2 joint-favourites with William Hill and so far the pair account for over half of all bets placed on the Leicester manager market.
