Punters Backing Vadamos And The Tin Man

William Hill have revised their markets for Champions Day and Gleneagles has shortened from 5-2 to 15-8 in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, with Solow pushed out to 11-10 from 5-6.

Meanwhile, in the Champions Sprint, Muhaarar is the 2-1 favourite, but there is plenty of money for The Tin Man who is now 7-1 from 8-1, having been 14-1 at the start of the week.

Jack Hobbs is a solid 5-4 favourite in the Champion Stakes, with Vadamos the most interesting mover from 8-1 to 5-1 in the past 48 hours.

“While the Champions Day favourites are strong, the likes of Vadamos in the Champion Stakes and The Tin Man in the Champions Sprint are attracting plenty of shrewd punters,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Champion Jockey AP McCoy talks about British Champions Day in his latest blog for William Hill and he thinks there could be some unstoppable favourites:

AP McCoy: “Champions Day is coming up and I think it’s good that the season now ends in one defining day. If Gleneagles doesn’t run then Solow is the biggest certainty walking out on to the track. Jack Hobbs and Muhaarar should both win as well.”
