Pharoah 1/6 at William Hill Haskell Invitational

Triple Crown winner American Pharoah looks set for an historic appearance in the $1million William Hill Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park, New Jersey, on Sunday 2nd August.

The Bob Baffert-trained superstar is the world’s top racehorse this year and became the first horse since 1978 to win the US Triple Crown with a mesmerising final leg victory in the Belmont Stakes.

The sponsors are already offering odds for American Pharoah to win the William Hill Haskell Invitational – and unsurprisingly they aren’t long odds. It’s 1/6 that he lands the million dollar race.

“American Pharoah is clearly one of the most exceptional horses to grace the racing world and as bookmakers we are paying him the utmost respect,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “It is fantastic for the sport to have such a magnificent equine ambassador.”
