Pellegrini Out In The Summer? Ancelotti Backed To Replace Him!

Manuel Pellegrini has been cut to leave Manchester City by the start of next season according to bookmakers William Hill. Offered at 4/7 after City were knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona, customers have only been interested in backing it and it is now 1/2 that he has left City by the opening day of next season.

Carlo Ancelotti, potentially out of Real Madrid in the summer, is the 6/4 favourite to take over from Pellegrini with Atletico boss, Diego Simeone the 4/1 second favourite. Ex Barca manager Pep Guardiola is 7/1.

"Pellegrini was brought into Manchester City to build on Mancini’s success and push on in Europe, however, that has not happened and it now looks as though the Chilean will be off in the summer with another big name in to replace him," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
