Boxing By Joe Crilly

One Month To Go

Following a bizarre press conference in which Tyson Fury appeared dressed as Batman, William Hill make Tyson Fury 3/1 to defeat Wladimir Klitschko. Many seasoned boxing pundits have suggested that the odds are stacked against Fury and the bookies agree offering 1/4 that the Ukrainian champ wins the bout with the draw offered at 25/1.

“The fight is just one month away and the excitement is building,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “A Klitschko win by KO is the most likely outcome and we think the champ looks set to retain his title.”

The money is already rolling in on the fight. Wladimir Klitschko has been attracting the big punters with bets of up to £3,000 having already been invested on him winning the fight, although Tyson Fury has attracted over twice as many individual wagers with the biggest bet on the Brit just £150 at 3/1.

Bout betting: 1/4 Wladimir Klitschko; 3/1 Tyson Fury; 25/1 draw

Method of victory: 11/10 Klitschko by KO, TKO or DQ; 13/8 Klitschko by decision or technical decision; 5/1 Fury by KO, TKO or DQ; 15/2 Fury by decision or technical decision
