O'Malley Out To Rock US Presidential Contest

MARTIN O'MALLEY, who plays guitar in a rock band, has entered the race to succeed Barack Obama as US President, and has been installed at 25/1 by William Hill to win the Democrat nomination, and 40/1 to make it to the White House.

However, the former Maryland governor is some way behind hot favourite Hillary Clinton, Hill's Even money favourite to win the race, who is 1/4 to get the Party nomination.

'Candidates keep announcing their intention of running for the White House, yet Hillary Clinton steadfastly remains the one to beat in the betting' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WILLIAM HILL: RACE TO THE WHITE HOUSE...Evens (bet £1 to make profit of £1) Hillary Clinton; 9/2 (bet £2 for profit of £9) Jeb Bush; 5/1 Marco Rubio; 10/1 Scott Walker; 16/1 Elizabeth Warren; 20/1 Rand Paul; 40/1 Martin O'Malley. Others on request.
