Odds Tumble On UK Winning Eurovision

William Hill have cut the odds of UK winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 after plans were announced to introduce a new X Factor style hunt for the person who will represent the nation. Originally offered at 50/1 following yet another dismal performance in 2015, those odds have more than halved but still stand at a relatively long 20/1.

“Nearly everything has been tried and failed over the years since Katerina and the Waves and nothing has worked so this is as good an option as any,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “At 20/1 though, the chances are still relatively slim.”
