Odds Tumble After Gamble On Sherwood To be Next Manager Out

William Hill have slashed the odds on Tim Sherwood being the next manager to leave his job after a Hertfordshire based gamble has seen his odds tumble from 6/1 to 11/4 making him the second favourite.

Steve McClaren is the 7/4 favourite to go while Jose Mourinho has been pushed into third in the betting at 3/1.

“Aston Villa have struggled since winning their opening match of the season and since that day, Sherwood’s odds have tumbled constantly with today’s gamble seemingly predicting his time at Villa Park could be edging ever closer,” said William hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next Premier League manager to leave: 7/4 Steve McClaren; 11/4 Tim Sherwood; 3/1 Jose Mourinho; 20/1 Quique Flores; 25/1 Mark Hughes; 25/1 Maur Pochettino; 25/1 Roberto Martinez; 25/1 Ronald Koeman; 25/1 Tony Pulis; 33/1 BAR
