Odds Of Garry Monk Being Next Manager Out Are Slashed After Gamble

William Hill have slashed the odds of Garry Monk being the next manager to leave his job after a nationwide gamble. Bets of up to £300 a time were being requested from up and down the country and his price of being the next out has collapsed from 33/1 to 13/8 in the space of three hours.

Monk is now second favourite to be the third Premier League manager to leave his job behind 4/7 favourite, Tim Sherwood.

“Five games without a win has somewhat diminished the good start that the Swans made this season and there seems to be quite a few people who think Monk’s job could be on the line after Monday’s result,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next Premier League manager to leave his job: 4/7 Tim Sherwood; 13/8 Garry Monk; 12/1 Steve McClaren; 16/1 Jose Mourinho; 33/1 Quique Flores; 33/1 Roberto Martinez; 40/1 BAR
