Next QPR Manager

After seemingly ruling himself out of the QPR manager’s job, Michael Laudrup has drifted in the betting to become the club’s new manager. A gamble in the early evening of Tuesday night with William Hill saw the Dane’s odds fall from 40/1 to 4/6 in the space of just an hour and a half, however, it would now appear that after their first away win of the season, Chris Ramsey is in pole position for the role.

He is the 2/1 favourite ahead of Laudrup at 5/1 followed by Real Madrid assistant, Paul Clement at 8/1.

“We have already had two odds-on favourites for this job in the space of a week and it looks as though both of those (Sherwood and Laudrup) are now out of the running,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next QPR manager: 2/1 Chris Ramsey; 5/1 Michael Laudrup; 8/1 Paul Clement; 10/1 Mark Warburton; 12/1 Tim Sherwood; 14/1 Gianfranco Zola; 20/1 Glenn Hoddle; 20/1 Kevin Bond; 20/1 Nigel Adkins; 20/1 Ralf Rangnick; 20/1 Steve McClaren; 25/1 BAR
