New Cheltenham Festival Specials

William Hill have released a new batch of specials to celebrate a month until the start of the 2015 Cheltenham Festival.

As well as regular markets such as ‘Top Trainer’ and ‘Top Jockey’, William Hill are betting on the official going at the start of the Festival, with ‘Good To Soft’ the odds-on favourite at 1-2.

The market will be decided on the predominant indicator, e.g. Good To Soft (Good In Places) will be settled as Good To Soft.

Over the past ten years, there’s been a range of going, but Good To Soft has been the most prevalent. Here’s how the market was decided in that time period:

Willie Mullins is 2-9 to be top trainer with William Hill, while Ruby Walsh is 1-2 to be top jockey. AP McCoy will be hoping to go out on a high at his final Cheltenham Festival and is 9-1 to be the top jockey.

“AP will be aiming for a spectacular finish to his career but Ruby is the man to beat for top honours at Cheltenham,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
