Move For Koeman To Be First Manager Out

Ronald Koeman has been the latest to be backed in the next Premier League manager to leave his jobmarket. A small number of bets have been wagered on the Southampton manager leaving and he is currently 8/1 from 33/1 on Thursday afternoon. Dick Advocaat is the 2/1 favourite for the chop ahead of Brendan Rodgers at 6/1.

“We have only seen small wagers on Koeman leaving but with a potential Dutch position on the horizon we have taken those small wagers seriously,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

A player who seemed on the verge of a move on transfer deadline day was Saido Berahino and he seems more likely to make a move despite seemingly having kissed and made up with Tony Pulis (if not Jeremy Peace). He is 4/7 to leave The Hawthorns during the January transfer window. Should he wish to make the England Euros squad, he needs to be playing and he is 5/6 to make Roy Hodgson’s final 23 for France.

The early kick off sees Everton host Chelsea following the latter’s very public courting of John Stones during the summer transfer window. William Hill are offering 7/1 that Mourinho and Martinez fail to shake hands either before or after the match while it is 7/4 that John Stones moves to Chelsea before the start of next season.
