Massive Gamble Could Hammer Bookies

William Hill are running for cover after a mammoth gamble on four horses that could leave Britain’s biggest bookmaker facing a significant payout.

“This could be one of the biggest gambles of all time,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “Word of the gamble has spread like wildfire on social media and since taking the first bets at around 5pm on Wednesday afternoon, the prices have completely collapsed. We have laid these horses across the board but if all four win it could be a dark day for bookmakers.”

All four horses are trained by Sheena West and owned by Daniel Steele, with two running at Wincanton and two horses competing at Lingfield.

If you’d had a £1 accumulator at the start of the gamble, it would return £57,460 if all four horses win.
