Maputo Sparkles At Kempton

Maputo receives a quote of 16-1 from William Hill for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle after winning at Kempton Park. The John Ferguson-trained gelding is now four from four over hurdles and was a Group 3 winner on the Flat.

“Maputo had plenty of class on the Flat, he’s switched to hurdles impressively and the Supreme could be a realistic target for him,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
