Latest NRL Premiership odds - Popular Panthers firm despite los

The Penrith Panthers continue to be popular with punters betting on the 2015 NRL Premiership, despite their Round 3 loss to competition heavyweights the Roosters.

While the Roosters remained rock solid at $5 with WilliamHill.com.au after Monday night’s 20-12 win, punters trimmed the Panthers from $7.50 into $7.

“Punters see more value in Penrith’s odds at the moment,” said William Hill’s Andrew Brown.

“The Panthers were minus their playmaker Jamie Soward and there’s been little between them and the Roosters lately.”

South Sydney remains the favourite at $4.75 with William Hill following the completion of Round 3.

The Bulldogs ($9 to $7.50) and Storm ($13 to $12) both firmed after their Round 3 wins.
