Labour Unlikely To Get off Scot Free

With a new poll predicting 48 seats for the SNP and just 11 for Labour in Scotland, William Hill are offering odds of 10/1 for the SNP to end up with 46-50; and 5/1 for Labour to get 11-15 in Scotland.

'The SNP's total of seats is exercising the minds- and wallets- of many political punters who believe the Party could well find itself in a coalition government' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe - Hills now offer 9/2 that the SNP will form part of a coalition government as a result of the General Election, with Alex Salmond 6/1 to become a government minister.

Hills also make the SNP 4/7 to have more seats than the Lib Dems, who are 13/8 vice versa, with a tie between the two offered at 9/1.
