Labour Odds On To Take Controversial Dudley North Seat

William Hill make Labour 1/4 favourites to win the constituency of Dudley North where controversy has erupted as the Conservative candidate has been suspended.

Hills make UKIP 11/4 second favourites to take the seat, with the Tories 16/1 shots and the Lib Dems 150/1. 'We are taking bets on all 650 constituencies and Dudley North has suddenly become one of the most newsworthy' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

In Dudley South Hills make the Tories 10/11 favourites with Labour narrow second favourites at 6/5; UKIP 11/2 and the Lib Dems 100/1.

The General Election is shaping up to be the biggest political betting event of all time, predict William Hill: 'In excess of £10m was gambled on the outcome of the Scottish Referendum, making it the biggest political betting event up until then - but the General Election is set to at least double that turnover' added Sharpe.
