Kilimanjaro Rewrites Christophermarlowe Script

Kilimanjaro won the Lingfield Derby Trial, beating odds-on Christophermarlowe who runs in the same silks and William Hill have reacted by slashing the winner for the Investec Derby and pushing out the beaten favourite.

William Hill cut Kilimanjaro to 25-1 from 66-1 for the Derby, while Christophermarlowe has been pushed out to 25-1 from 14-1.

“The Derby market is falling to pieces and it seems that every horse who is fancied for a trial is getting beaten,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “There is yet to be a horse who has really captured the imagination of the betting public.”
