Keaton And Redmayne Lead The Charge For Oscar Glory

Following yesterday’s announcement of the Oscar nominees, bookmakers William Hill have seen a surge in the betting for Best Actor where 97% of the bets taken have been for the two odds-on favourites - Michael Keaton at 4/5 and Eddie Redmayne offered at 10/11.

“The way the betting is going, it would be easy to think the Best Actor Award is a two horse race but the two favourites face stiff competition from the other nominees and the Academy could still spring a surprise with their choice of winner”, said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
