Jack of all Trades

William Hill’s traders have slashed the price on Jack Hobbs from 33-1 to 12-1 for the Investec Derby after an impressive performance at Sandown. Initially William Hill went 20-1 after the race, but within 2 minutes of bets flooding in, that price was shortened to 14-1 and a further 15 minutes later, it was 12-1.

“It is one of the most volatile and important movements in this year’s Derby market,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “Hobbs became hot property in a matter of minutes.”
