Ivawood Worst Result for William Hill

Ivawood is the worst result for William Hill ahead of the Qipco 2000 Guineas, with the Richard Hannon-trained horse currently at odds of 12-1.

But it’s been a puzzling antepost market for the bookmakers, as well as for punters.

“The muddling nature of the trials has provided more confusion than clarity for punters. There’s not been a stand-out horse for people to rally behind and that means there could be some real volatility in the market on the day,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Gleneagles is the 11-4 favourite, while three horses lead the chasing field at 6-1 in the market – Estidhkaar, Ol’ Man River and Territories.
