Football Weather By Joe Crilly

It’s Snow Joke For Footy Fans

With blankets of snow sweeping the nation, William Hill are offering 5/1 that any Premier League match is postponed this weekend and make it just 8/1 that the lowest temperature in England is broken before the end of April. It is the same price for the lowest temperatures in Scotland and Wales to be broken.

“Premier League sides have everything in place to ensure that matches go ahead but they cannot control the conditions around their grounds and if the snow makes the journey too treacherous there could be at least one top flight match in danger of being called off,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
