Is This The Year The Voice Finally Tops The Charts?
The Voice attracted its highest viewing figures since the first series over the weekend and William Hill are offering 5/1 that the 10m viewer mark is broken at some point during the current series. With an increased fan base tuning in this time around, it is 6/1 that the winner bags a solo number one single this year.
The most likely winner thus far is Stevie McCrorie who heads the betting at 5/2 followed by Clark Carmody and Howard Rose at 8/1 and 9/1 respectively.
“The Voice has struggled to turn their winners into stars but with the show more popular than ever, fan power could finally help the show reach parity with the X Factor,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
