ICC Cricket World Cup: Australia Attracting 75p Of Every £1

Australia are the 4/9 favourites to win the second World Cup semi-final against India according to William Hill and Even money to win the tournament. Australia have attracted over three times the amount of money as India ahead of the second semi-final.

“Australia have been the favourites since day one for this tournament and they remain favourites as we approach the final hurdle,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Shikhar Dhawan is currently in the top ten batsmen in the tournament and is 7/2 to top score for India. David Warner has the third highest individual score during the tournament of 178 against Afghanistan and is 10/3 to top score for Australia.

With the ball, Mohammed Shami is the third highest wicket taker during the tournament and is 5/2 to be the top Indian bowler during the match while Mitchell Starc is one of only two bowlers ahead of Shami in the rankings and is 9/4 to take the most wickets for Australia.
