I’m A Celebrity: Largest EVER Reality TV Bet Wagered On Tony Hadley

William Hill have taken their largest ever reality TV wager with £25,000 being staked on Tony Hadley winning this year’s I’m A Celebrity. The bet, placed online by someone from within the music industry, was struck at 6/1 meaning that should Hadley emerge as King of the Jungle, the individual would receive £175,000 – making it the first ever reality TV bet to potentially return over £100,000.

“This is a massive wager for a reality TV market and there is plenty to suggest that this individual would have met Tony Hadley and clearly thinks he has the personality and mettle to win the show,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

The former Spandau Ballet singer’s odds have been cut from 6/1 to 3/1 making him the clear favourite ahead of George Shelley and Jorgie Porter at 4/1.

I’m A Celebrity winner: 3/1 Tony Hadley; 4/1 George Shelley; 4/1 Jorgie Porter; 9/2 Chris Eubank; 10/1 Duncan Bannatyne; 12/1 Yvette Fielding; 14/1 Brian Friedman; 14/1 Kieron Dyer; 25/1 Lady Colin Campbell; 25/1 Susannah Constantine
