I’m A Celeb: Bookies Fear Hadley Hammering

Bookmakers, William Hill, are fearing a Hadley hammering should the former Spandau Ballet singer win this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity. The 80s pop star has been the subject of the biggest ever reality TV wager (£25,000 at 6/1) as well as hundreds of smaller bets from punters up and down the country.

“Tony Hadley is widely regarded as one of the nicest guys in music and our punters think that this is a trait that will stand him in good stead to win this year’s series,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “I know this much is true – if Tony were to win, even at this early stage of proceedings, we would take a right hammering.”

George Shelley and Jorgie Porter are behind Tony in the betting at 4/1.

I’m A Celebrity winner: 3/1 Tony Hadley; 4/1 George Shelley; 4/1 Jorgie Porter; 9/2 Chris Eubank; 10/1 Duncan Bannatyne; 12/1 Yvette Fielding; 14/1 Brian Friedman; 14/1 Kieron Dyer; 25/1 Lady Colin Campbell; 25/1 Susannah Constantine
