Hot Gamble on Gleneagles

William Hill can report a surge of betting in the 2000 Guineas market for Gleneagles over the last 24 hours, trimming the horse to 4-1 from 6-1. The initial cut was 6-1 to 5-1, but continued investment from punters has driven the price down further to 4-1.

“There is a good strong flow of money for Gleneagles, with a number of four-figure bets on the horse,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “It’s the strongest move so far for any horse in any of the Classic markets.”
