Hot Chocolat Trimmed For Triumph

Pain Au Chocolat landed the opening juvenile hurdle at Sandown on Saturday and has narrowed for the Triumph Hurdle to 25-1 from 40-1 with William Hill. Despite the race not being particularly informative, given the crawling pace in the early stages, William Hill think there could be more to come from the Alan King-trained horse.

“Although it was hardly a race run at Triumph tempo, he is heading in the right direction and could make some each-way appeal at Cheltenham,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
