Ho Ho How Will Your Team Fare Over Christmas?

William Hill have opened their betting on how many points all of the Premier League sides will win over the three festive games this season. League leaders Leicester are in for a stern test of their title credentials and are 9/4 to pick up fewer than three points over their next three games while Arsenal, who are two points behind them are odds on to pick up seven or more.

At the bottom, Aston Villa are 7/1 to pick up seven or more while Sunderland are 11/10 to pick up two or fewer.

“The festive period is where the title race comes into focus as does the battle for the drop and there will be a few sides looking to maintain or build a bit of momentum heading into the second half of the season,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Should any side struggle over the festive period, there could be a Christmas sack and it is 7/2 that any Premier League boss leaves before the start of 2016.

After his side’s defeat to Arsenal on Monday night, Manuel Pellegrini is 16/1 to be the next manager to leave his job while Pep Guardiola is just 1/3 to be in charge of Manchester City on the first day of next season.

Louis van Gaal is 1/4 favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job and with Jose Mourinho adding pressure, the Portuguese manager is just 2/5 to rock up to Old Trafford as his next club.
