HK Star Favourite for Queen Anne

Able Friend is William Hill’s 2-1 favourite for the Queen Anne Stakes as the Hong Kong star aims for Ascot glory. The John Moore-trained horse is likely to travel over from Far East Asia for the first time, while he has been in fantastic form at Sha Tin, landing the LONGINES Hong Kong Mile, Stewards’ Cup and Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup.

Recent Dubai Turf winner, Solow, is next in the list at 9-4 for Freddy Head, whilst the shortest-priced British-trained horse is Richard Hannon’s Night Of Thunder at 7-1.

“Foreign milers are ready to raid Ascot and Able Friend is the pick of the pack,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
